Preparation

Order matters: manual steps and a reboot, then the loader button and one more reboot. About 15 minutes.
0 of 9 steps
Remove third-party antivirus and anti-cheats Kaspersky, Avast, ESET and the like, plus FaceIT and Riot Vanguard, conflict with the loader. They must be uninstalled, not just paused.
  1. Open Settings → Apps → Installed apps (or Control Panel → Programs and Features).
  2. Uninstall any third-party antivirus (Kaspersky, Avast, AVG, ESET, 360, Malwarebytes, etc.). Pausing or disabling is not enough — the antivirus driver stays resident.
  3. Uninstall the FaceIT AC and Riot Vanguard anti-cheats if present — they block third-party software at the kernel level.
    • FaceIT is the CS2 anti-cheat, Vanguard is the Valorant one. If you don't play those games, they are safe to remove.
After removing an antivirus, restart the PC — some of its services only unload after a reboot.
A full walkthrough covering every case: How to turn off Windows Defender in Windows 11 and 10: fully or for one folder
Fully disable Windows Defender The #1 cause of “it won't launch”. Disable it for real: manually first, then remove it from startup, reboot, and finish it off with Defender Control.
  1. Step 1. Turn protection off by hand. Open Windows Security → Virus & threat protection → Manage settings and switch every toggle off:
    • Real-time protection — Off.
    • Cloud-delivered protection — Off.
    • Automatic sample submission — Off.
    • Tamper Protection — Off. Turn this one off first, otherwise the others switch themselves back on.
  2. Step 2. Disable reputation-based protection. In Windows Security → App & browser control → Reputation-based protection → Settings, turn everything off (SmartScreen, potentially-unwanted-app blocking).
  3. Step 3. Remove Defender from startup. Open Task Manager (Ctrl+Shift+Esc) → Startup apps tab, find Windows Security notification icon and click Disable.
  4. Step 4. Restart your computer. This is mandatory — some Defender services only unload after a reboot.
  5. Step 5. Finish with Defender Control. Download Defender Control (archive password: r1xon), run it as administrator and click Disable Windows Defender — the tile turns red.
    • If your antivirus deletes the utility itself, protection is still active — go back to step 1. The file ships zipped on purpose so Defender can't wipe it before it's disabled.
Don't skip steps 3–4. “I turned the toggles off but it didn't help” almost always means Defender came back after restart because it was left in startup.
A full walkthrough covering every case: How to turn off Windows Defender in Windows 11 and 10: fully or for one folder
  1. Turn off Windows Defender — by hand first. Under “Manage settings” switch off all four toggles: real-time protection, cloud-delivered protection, automatic sample submission and tamper protection. The order is not accidental: while Tamper Protection is on, Defender Control cannot apply its change.
  2. Uninstall third-party antivirus with the vendor's own removal tool, not through “Add or remove programs”: a regular uninstall leaves drivers in the kernel that keep blocking the loader. For Kaspersky that is kavremover; for the rest, search “antivirus name + removal tool” on the vendor's site.
  3. Uninstall other games' anti-cheats — Riot Vanguard (Valorant) and FACEIT AC if they are installed. For these the regular “Add or remove programs” is enough.
  4. Turn Windows test mode off if you ever turned it on. With test mode (testsigning) on, the loader blocks the key, so do not enable it for other software either. It is turned off with bcdedit /set testsigning off in an administrator command prompt — the reboot comes in the next step.
  5. Reboot the PC. This step is mandatory: without it the antivirus and anti-cheat drivers stay loaded in the kernel, and Defender comes back on the next boot.
  6. Download the loader — download Tundra Radar — put it in its own folder, run it as administrator and press 🔧 Prepare system. The button turns off HVCI, VBS and Hypervisor Launch by itself — no manual registry editing is needed.
  7. Reboot the PC once more. Those fixes only apply on the next kernel boot. After the second reboot the system is ready.

Launch

0 of 9 steps
  1. Put tundra_radar.exe in a convenient folder and do not run it straight from an archive.
  2. Right-click the file → Run as administrator.
If you use a spoofer, start it only after the radar: first the radar on your real hardware, then the spoofer. If the spoofer goes first, the key binds to the spoofed hardware.
  3. At the top of the loader pick the server: RU for Russia and neighbouring countries, EU for Ukraine, Europe and everywhere else. Keep any VPN off: the radar does not need one, and together with the RU server it breaks the connection.
  4. Enter the license key in the TUNDRAE-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX form — it arrives right after payment.
  5. Wait for the “Ready” status. Do not close the loader window — it closes on its own and opens the radar tab.
  6. Start PUBG through Steam and join a match as usual.
  7. The map fills up while you are in a match: in the lobby and on the loading screen it is empty, and that is normal. Pick the island at the top of the radar if it does not match.
  8. Keep the map tab open for the whole match. Nothing has to be restarted for the next match — the map refreshes on its own.
  9. Tip: open the radar on your phone or a second monitor. The map then stays out of stream capture and is always within reach.

Map legend

What the markers on the radar map mean.

  1. Dots are players, each team in its own colour. Next to them: name, distance, HP bar and the weapon in hand, as text or icon.
  2. Gear level — helmet, vest and backpack level 1, 2 or 3 for every player.
  3. ▲ and ▼ — a player above or below you. The height threshold in metres is set in the settings, “Sizes” tab.
  4. The line from a player shows where they look. Your own and others' line length are set with sliders.
  5. Vehicles — hover one to see durability and fuel in percent.
  6. Loot — item icons up close, dots when zoomed out. A stack shows up to 4 icons and a counter for the rest. What to show is picked in the “Loot” tab: turn the filter on and tick the items you need.
  7. Crates and airdrops are marked on the map together with their contents.
  8. Teammate view — pick a player of your team at the top of the radar, and the “Follow” button makes the map track them.

Problems & fixes

13
The map is empty, no players and no loot
Check that you are already in a match: in the lobby and on the loading screen the map is empty by design. If it is empty inside the match too, the loader is not reading the game. Usually Windows has switched Memory Integrity or real-time protection back on after an update or a reboot: redo the first preparation step, press 🔧 Prepare system in the loader and reboot.
The antivirus deleted the loader right after the download
It is a false positive, normal for this kind of software. The order matters: first fully disable Defender and remove third-party antivirus software (Kaspersky, Avast, 360 and similar), and only then download the file. If the file is already gone, restore it from quarantine or download it again after protection is off, and add the loader folder to exclusions.
The loader window closed by itself — is that an error?
No, that is the intended behaviour. After a successful connection the loader closes and opens the map link in your default browser. If the browser did not open, the link is still valid — take it from the browser history or run the loader again and copy the address from its window.
The key is rejected
Copy the whole key from the email or the bot with no trailing spaces, and do not type it by hand: 0 and O, 1 and I are easy to confuse. Then check the system time — activation fails when it drifts from real time: Win + R → timedate.cpl → Internet Time → Change settings → Update now, or w32tm /resync in an administrator command prompt.
The loader closes itself in one or two seconds
Nine times out of ten it is Memory Integrity or Tamper Protection: Windows turns them back on by itself. Redo the first preparation step, press 🔧 Prepare system and reboot. The loader must be started as administrator. If that still does not help — Secure Boot: the vendor does not require disabling it, but as a last resort enter BIOS/UEFI (Del, F2 or F12 at boot) and set Secure Boot to Disabled.
Positions on the map do not update or lag behind
The map tab has to stay open for the whole match: a minimised or browser-discarded tab stops receiving updates. On a phone, prevent the system from sleeping the tab and do not keep the screen off for long. If only you lag behind, check the connection — updates are tuned for low traffic, but the map freezes when the link drops.
The “Memory Integrity” toggle is greyed out
An incompatible driver is holding it. Open Windows Security → Device security → Core isolation → “Incompatible drivers” — it names the culprit, usually an old USB, printer or audio driver. Remove that driver, reboot and repeat the preparation.
Hyper-V, WSL2, Docker Desktop or “Sandbox” are installed
They force VBS back on, so the preparation does not stick. Press Win, open “Turn Windows features on or off” and uncheck Hyper-V, Virtual Machine Platform, Windows Hypervisor Platform, Windows Sandbox and Windows Subsystem for Linux, then reboot.

FAQ

8
Where do I get the key after payment?
The key arrives instantly after payment — it appears on the order page and lands in your email, and if Telegram is linked to your account, our bot sends a copy too. This guide opens from there as well.
Which key opens the menu in game?
None. This is a web radar: nothing is drawn over the game and every setting lives on the map page in the browser. That is why it does not conflict with overlays and stays out of screen capture when the map is open on a phone or a second monitor.
Can I open the map on a phone?
Yes. Open the same link the loader gave you on a phone or tablet — the map works in a regular browser.
Can I use one key on two PCs?
No: one key is one PC, and it binds to the hardware on the first launch. To move the key to a new PC or after a hardware change, start the loader with this key on the new computer: it shows an error and sends the developer a binding reset request. Then write to support and explain why you are moving the key. A move to a completely different PC on a different IP looks like key sharing, and such a reset may be refused.
Does the key time only run while I play?
No. The term runs continuously from the moment the key is activated, not only while you play: a 24-hour key ends 24 hours after activation, even if the PC is off. The developer counts activation and expiry times in UTC — Moscow time is 3 hours ahead.
Does it work on a laptop?
Yes. But on 2023+ laptops, especially Lenovo and Dell, Memory Integrity is forced on by BIOS policy — the whole preparation has to be done, including the 🔧 Prepare system button and the second reboot.
Do I need to turn off virtualization in BIOS?
No. Virtualization in BIOS (SVM, VT-x) does not affect the radar — leave it as it is. Only what 🔧 Prepare system turns off has to be off: HVCI, VBS and Hypervisor Launch.
Do I need a VPN?
No. Pick the server for your region at the top of the loader: RU for Russia and neighbouring countries, EU for Ukraine, Europe and everywhere else. Keep the VPN off: together with the RU server it breaks the connection.

Still stuck?

Run R1XON Checker first — it pinpoints most launch problems in 30 seconds. If it still fails, attach the checker report to your support ticket and we’ll sort it out fast.
